Head Groom

Professional and experienced Head Groom desired for mornings 6:30A-11:30AM/5 days per week.

Duties Include:

Opening Duties
Checking paddocks daily before turning out.
Feed preparation and distribution
Turnout
Bathing/Clipping as scheduled
Blanketing/Fly Sheets (as needed)
Wrapping/Bandaging legs
General First Aid
Administering medications and wormers
Administering IV/IM injections as directed by vet
Keeping detailed records on horses & their care

Mandatory Requirements:

3-5 years Experience as professional groom in a professional setting

Verifiable job history and references
Legal to work in US
Fluent in written & spoken English
Own reliable transportation
Clean Background and driving record
CPR & First Aid Certification

Preferred additional experience, but NOT required:
Drive 4 horse goose-neck trailer

Compensation/Benefits:

$20-25 per hour

2 weeks paid vacation
